On May 15, CSI Group and Ningbo University Affiliated First Hospital held a ceremony to unveil their Party-building cooperation and jointly launched the first “Medical-Enterprise Partnership, Walking Together for Health” health education and consultation event. Mr. Wu Jie, Party Secretary of CSI Group, and Mr. Ruan Liemin, Party Secretary of the hospital, jointly unveiled the plaque, marking a new chapter in Party-led collaboration, corporate-medical partnership, social responsibility, and public health advancement.
Attending the event were representatives from the Ningbo Municipal Health Bureau, Ningbo First Hospital’s Health Management Center, and Human Resources Department, including over 10 medical experts. Also present were Mr. Chen Xiongfei, Deputy Party Secretary of CSI Group, Mr. Lou Hua, Party Committee Member, other company leaders, and more than 130 employees from various subsidiaries.
Mr. Wu Jie extended a warm welcome, expressing sincere gratitude to Secretary Ruan and her expert team for bringing healthcare into the enterprise. He acknowledged the long-standing dedication of the healthcare system to the stability and development of Ningbo’s economy and society, particularly during emergencies like SARS and COVID-19. He emphasized that this joint initiative is a vivid manifestation of the hospital’s people-centered healthcare philosophy and an innovative move to bring Party services to the grassroots. He called on all Party branches and administrative units within CSI Group to seize this opportunity to enhance the employee care system and make “Healthy CSI” a hallmark of corporate culture.
In her address, Secretary Ruan Liemin fondly recalled leading a 260-member anti-epidemic team from Ningbo to Wuhan in 2020 and expressed appreciation to CSI Group for swiftly sourcing protective gear such as medical gowns and N95 masks from overseas to support frontline medical workers. She noted that this partnership reflects the practical integration of the national strategies of “Healthy China” and “Manufacturing Power” at the grassroots level. Moving forward, the hospital will leverage its resources to deepen the “Three Ones” initiative: co-building a “Red Health Post,” creating a “Green Medical Access Channel,” and cultivating a group of “Health Stewards.” Through shared Party-building, resource integration, and collaborative development, the partnership aims to become a model of medical-enterprise cooperation under Party leadership, contributing to Ningbo’s drive for common prosperity.
Following the ceremony, medical experts such as Dr. Wang Yong, Director of the Cardiovascular Department, and Dr. Zhou Dongdong, Director of General Medicine, delivered health talks on coronary heart disease prevention and medical report interpretation. Experts from cardiology, general medicine, endocrinology, thoracic surgery, orthopedics, and gastroenterology offered free consultations to employees.
Established on March 1, 2023, with approval from the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee Organization Office, Ningbo University First Hospital is a merger of the former Ningbo First Hospital (founded in 1912) and the university-affiliated hospital (formerly Ningbo Third Hospital, founded in 1951).
