Amid scorching summer temperatures, with Ningbo recording highs over 38°C for several days, CSI Group is experiencing a surge of intense activity. The Power Division is seeing a record number of orders, with the latest generation of high-power engines ready for shipment. Meanwhile, teams at CSI Group’s ULVAC subsidiary are working around the clock to meet critical delivery deadlines for the “Project D” initiative. At the Hangzhou Bay factory of Fu Chun Shin, all major equipment is operating at full capacity. Facing the dual challenge of extreme heat and heavy workloads, the entire Group has rallied to launch an all-out campaign to maintain production, ensure delivery, and achieve new growth milestones.

Final Assembly Workshop of CSI Power:
With temperatures inside the workshop nearing 40°C, heatwaves are relentless. To ensure the timely shipment of a key project bound for Africa, all employees voluntarily extended their working hours and adopted a “day + night” model of high-intensity work to meet the delivery schedule.

Precision Machining Division of CSI Power:
As a critical link in the production chain, key stations such as the five-face milling and crankshaft positions are operating under 12-hour shifts. To ensure equipment stability, the provincial Skills Master Studio’s five-face team has implemented 24-hour rotations. Senior technicians, including Zhejiang Master Craftsman Wang Lianhong, Municipal Model Worker Zhou Linweng, and Chief Worker Yan Luming, have each remained stationed for over 16 hours at a time, closely monitoring equipment and optimising process plans to guarantee on-time delivery of critical components.

CSI Trading Company:
Embracing a “go global” strategy, CSI Trading Company established an overseas subsidiary earlier this year. Orders from Africa, Russia, and other markets continue to grow, with overseas orders now accounting for over 60% of total sales. Domestically, sales teams are travelling across the country to secure contracts. Offices in Southeast and East China have already exceeded their annual targets in the first half of the year. The After-Sales Service Department is working diligently, with engineers like Li Yuanwei and Peng Fengye on-site in Congo performing installation and commissioning of 8*2MW generator sets power plant. The entire sales team is full of confidence and determination to achieve greater success this year.

R&D Team:
At testing sites for key new products such as the 18V type and methanol engines, technical teams are collecting data and optimising designs in the heat, accelerating product iteration and result conversion. Chief Engineer Liu Qingming volunteered for the most demanding endurance tests during peak heat periods, clocking over 700 hours of overtime in the first half of the year – his sweat turning into engineering blueprints. The R&D institute’s innovation team remains at their posts, pushing forward with flagship projects in green, low-carbon, and energy-saving technologies to provide continuous innovation momentum for high-quality development.

ULVAC – Jiangbei Foundry:
With aluminium melt temperatures exceeding 700°C, Casting Group Leader Wu Jing and his team work 12-hour shifts daily in workshop conditions over 40°C. Undaunted by the searing conditions, they are engaged in round-the-clock rotations to meet deadlines, leading the charge in the BYD project delivery battle.

Fu Chun Shin – Hangzhou Bay Factory:
During the recent Global Open Day, visitors were amazed by the array of large injection moulding machines, with bustling on-site interactions. In the first half of the year, FCS has expanded across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, achieving a 20% year-on-year growth as it prepares to enter the ranks of the world’s top 10 injection moulding machine manufacturers.
