To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, CSI Group’s Party Committee recently organised a “Celebrating July 1st” Party Member Theme Day event under the theme “Unity of Knowledge and Action: Promoting Action Through Knowledge, Gaining Knowledge Through Action.” The event featured a distinctive red educational journey, including visits to the Lynk & Co plant in Yuyao, the former residence of Wang Yangming, Qingfeng Garden at the ancient county government complex, and Zhenli Garden in Cicheng Ancient Town. Over 100 Party members from various subordinate branches participated, experiencing an immersive Party class “on the move.”
Intelligent Manufacturing Inspires Action, Practice Drives Development. Geely Auto, as a leading independent brand in China, has become a vital force in the rise of the Chinese automobile industry through continuous technological innovation, global strategic layout, and proactive transformation towards new energy. On the day of the event, Party members first visited the Lynk & Co Ningbo Yuyao Plant, gaining a deep understanding of the achievements in modern intelligent manufacturing and experiencing firsthand the progress in industrial automation under China’s science and innovation strategy. The synchronised movement of robotic arms on the production lines and real-time data from digital platforms allowed members to witness the transformation of “Made in China” into “Intelligent Manufacturing in China.”
Seeking Wisdom in the Hometown of Wang Yangming: Understanding the Philosophy of Unity of Knowledge and Action. At the Former Residence of Wang Yangming, Party members listened to detailed interpretations of the philosopher’s ideas, particularly his concept of “Unity of Knowledge and Action.” This philosophy served as a moral compass, guiding members to cultivate Party spirit through real-world practice and to fulfil their responsibilities through dedication and perseverance. “Wang Yangming’s idea of ‘tempering oneself through real-life challenges’ aligns perfectly with the Party’s expectation of building character through practice,” emphasized Chen Xiongfei, Deputy Secretary of the Group’s Party Committee. Many participants expressed their commitment to transforming the essence of “knowing one’s conscience” into a guide for real action and enterprise development.
Honing Original Aspirations in Qingfeng Garden, Reaffirming Party Ideals in Zhenli Garden. Located within the Ancient County Government Complex in Cicheng, Qingfeng Garden stands as a benchmark for clean governance education in China. Through historical exhibits, sculptures, murals, original relics, and interactive media, the garden offers a vivid portrayal of ancient clean officials and anti-corruption efforts. It skillfully integrates over a thousand years of Cicheng’s history with core values of integrity and virtue, showcasing the moral heritage of Jiangnan-style governance. At Zhenli Garden, Party members reviewed the glorious history of the CPC, reaffirmed their original mission, and once again recited the oath of Party membership in front of the Party flag, their resolute voices echoing through the red exhibition hall.
A Dynamic Integration of “Red Education + Traditional Culture + Modern Industry”. This themed Party Day event combined red education, traditional culture, and modern industrial insights, transforming the Party lesson into an on-site, interactive experience. Breaking away from conventional lecture-style formats, it enabled Party members to “integrate learning, reflection, and application; unify knowledge, faith, and action” in a real-world setting. More than just a spiritual refinement, it was a vivid demonstration of “Party-building +” in practice.
Participants unanimously agreed that the event was both a profound Party spirit education and an engaging practical Party lesson, sounding the charge for “promoting development through Party-building initiatives.” The “Red Sea Party-Building, Party Flag Leads the Way” approach is set to inject even greater momentum into the CSI Group’s high-quality development.
